From first assessment to long-term management.

We support project owners across the life of a carbon project. We can take on a single stage or all of them.

01

Origination and assessment

We find and assess land with carbon potential. That covers eligibility under the relevant standard, likely carbon yield, land-use constraints, tenure and rights. The result is a clear view of whether a project is worth pursuing, and on what terms.

02

Project structuring

We design the project and the arrangements around it: the methodology, the parties and their roles, governance, risk allocation and the plan for permanence.

Funding and offtake readiness

We prepare projects for the funders and buyers they need. That means financial models, diligence material, data rooms and the governance framework those parties expect. The project owner enters into any funding or offtake agreement.

04

Project management and oversight

Once a project is running, we help keep it on track: monitoring and reporting cycles, verification, oversight of contractors, and reporting to funders and stakeholders. Specialist local project managers and contractors carry out the work on the ground.

What we don't do

Karbuna does not buy, sell or broker carbon credits, and does not provide investment or financial advice. Credits belong to the project owner, and the project owner sells them.
